The Wineries

We offer a wide selection of wineries, carefully chosen by our certified sommelier. From these, the tour stops will be defined depending on the season and availability.

Our philosophy is to offer a range of wine estates capable of representing the Alpilles and the Camargue in all their nuances: from the most exclusive domaines to niche producers, authentic expressions of the territory, able to tell the story of their wines with passion, dedication, and identity.

The proposed experiences reflect this diversity: from the most exclusive itineraries, including visits to historic residences, tastings in evocative settings, and walks through the vineyards, to more intimate and essential moments dedicated purely to tasting.

Whatever their size, the estates you will visit stand out not only for the exceptional quality of their wines, but also for their commitment to keeping tradition alive while looking toward the future, through constant attention to environmental protection.

Les Baux-de-Provence AOP

Dominated by the ruins of the medieval Château des Baux, bathed in the unmistakable light of Provence, the Alpilles mountain range rises like an amphitheatre of limestone and Mediterranean garrigue. Its charm lies in visual pauses and fragrant landscapes; the territory alternates iconic villages such as Saint-Rémy-de-Provence and Les Baux-de-Provence with stone scenery, olive groves, almond trees and vineyards. The air is filled with the scents of the garrigue: thyme, rosemary and lavender. A setting that gives the wines produced here a distinctive identity and unmistakable Mediterranean notes.

Viticulture in the Alpilles dates back to ancient times: as early as the Gallo-Roman period, the area was cultivated and Roman roads facilitated the wine trade. In the Middle Ages, the fortress of the Lords of Les Baux became the political and cultural centre of the region, shaping a landscape whose imprint is still visible today in the vineyard rows and dry-stone walls.

Thanks to the distinctive limestone soils, the Alpilles produce wines known for their elegance, finesse and minerality. The Les Baux-de-Provence AOP, established in 1995, brings together 12 winemakers committed to organic and biodynamic practices, capable of expressing in their wines the unique personality of these terroirs.

In the collective imagination, Provence is synonymous with rosé. The gastronomic rosés of Les Baux stand out for the intensity of their colour, as well as for their structure and character. You will also discover that this AOP boasts a significant production of age-worthy reds, robust and aromatic, as well as fresh and fragrant white wines. The grape varieties used include: Grenache, Grenache Blanc, Syrah, Cinsault, Mourvèdre, Carignan, Counoise, Cabernet Sauvignon, Vermentino, Clairette, Roussanne, Marsanne, Bourboulenc and Ugni Blanc.

Unlike some historic appellations, there is no single “founder” of the tradition here; rather, it is the collective work of generations of winemakers, the artisanal care of the vineyards and environmentally respectful practices that have shaped wines now recognised as a niche of Provençal excellence.

Yet the journey goes beyond wine: the tour and winery visits also offer the opportunity to discover other treasures of the Alpilles — AOP olive oil production, lavender essential oils, local gastronomic products… A unique multisensory experience that will remain in your heart and on your palate, a story of stone, sun, wind and passion that we will be delighted to share with you.

Camargue

In the heart of the Camargue, vineyards stretch between marshlands and rice fields, shaped by a unique terroir. The Gris and Gris de Gris wines, emblematic of the region, obtained the Sable de Camargue AOP designation in 2023. These very pale rosé wines, made from the Grenache Gris grape variety, stand out from traditional rosés thanks to a subtle saline note and charm with their freshness and approachability.

Within this exceptional and wild natural reserve, we have identified surprising niches, also dedicated to the production of red and white wines, and to crafting organic wines, in respect of the natural balances that surround them. The finesse and elegance of the wines produced in these niche estates come from the quality of the sandy-limestone-loam soils, the influence of the Rhône and the sea, the protection offered by oak forests, and a climate regulated by wind, sun, and water. The grape varieties used include native types such as Marselan and Caladoc, as well as international varieties like Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, and Cabernet Sauvignon.
